      Garden Point Cemetery is more than a century old, the first tombstone is dated 1903. However, in the original deed, dated 1925 property was transfered to the trustees of the Garden Point Cemetery Association. Now, this land is the property of Etowah Township with policies set with the Garden Point Cemetery Association.

      This website will house the cemetery history of the area. In 1996, was encouraged to create a database and mapping for our Garden Point Cemetery. This work provided the information necessary to be a State and National Historic Cemetery In collecting the obituaries and histories, and because of intermarriage in the community, yes, we are one big family.
